Connectem Healthcare Business Consulting, S.L. (“Connectem“, “we“, “us” or “our“) is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of our website www.connectem.eu (the “Website“). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and what rights you have over it.
We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR“) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (“LOPDGDD“).

2. What personal data do we collect?
We only collect the personal data that you provide to us voluntarily, plus limited technical data required to operate the Website securely:
- Contact form / email enquiries. When you use the contact form or write to us by email, we collect your name, email address and the content of your message (and any other personal data you choose to include in it).
- Technical and navigation data. Our hosting provider automatically processes certain technical data (such as your IP address, browser type and access logs) for the sole purpose of operating, securing and maintaining the Website.
- Statistical data. We may use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool (Koko Analytics) that produces aggregated visit statistics and does not store personal data or track users across websites. (Remove this point if the tool is not installed.)
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (Article 9 GDPR), and we do not operate a newsletter, user accounts, blog comments or job-application forms through this Website.
3. Why do we use your data, and on what legal basis?

Providing your data is voluntary, but if you do not provide the data marked as necessary in the contact form, we will not be able to attend to your request.
4. How long do we keep your data?
- Contact and enquiry data: we keep your data for as long as necessary to deal with your request. If the contact does not lead to a business relationship, we will delete your data once the matter has been resolved, normally within 12 months. (Adjust this period if you prefer.)
- If a business or contractual relationship arises: we will keep the relevant data for the duration of that relationship and, thereafter, for the limitation periods established by applicable law to address any liability (in general, up to 6 years under Spanish commercial law, and the periods set out in tax legislation where applicable).
Once these periods have elapsed, your data will be securely deleted or anonymised.
5. Who do we share your data with?
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Your data may be processed on our behalf by the following category of service provider, acting as a data processor under a contract that complies with Article 28 GDPR:
- Web hosting: our Website is hosted by Webempresa Europa, S.L., whose servers are located within the European Union.
Beyond this, we will only disclose your data where we are legally obliged to do so (for example, to public authorities, courts or law-enforcement bodies pursuant to a valid legal request).
6. International data transfers
We do not carry out international transfers of your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Our hosting provider stores data within the European Union, and our analytics tool does not transfer personal data abroad.
7. What are your rights?
Under the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restrict the processing of your data.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Data portability, where applicable.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
You may exercise these rights free of charge by writing to info@connectem.eu, indicating the right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to verify your identity. We will respond within one month, which may be extended by two further months where necessary.
If you consider that we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos – AEPD, www.aepd.es), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid.
8. Security of your data
We have adopted appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature of the data processed.
9. Minors
The Website and our services are aimed at professionals and businesses, and are not directed at minors. Persons under 14 years of age must not provide personal data through the Website without the consent of their parents or legal guardians.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our processing activities or in applicable law. The version in force is the one published on the Website, with its corresponding “Last updated” date.

This Privacy Policy is governed by Spanish law and by directly applicable European Union data protection legislation.
